All Natural Everything!

As 2016 comes to a close, I've begun to think about what goals and resolutions I have for the new year. One of them being, all natural everything! I started my natural hair journey in 2012 when I stopped getting relaxers. Fast forward to June 2013 when I did my big chop and now 3.5 years later, my hair is flourishing and fabulous! This is largely in part due to the fact that I stopped using so many harsh chemicals in my hair, and tried to find products that were natural. Though I still use a shampoo with sulfates, I am extremely pleased with the state of my hair.

Then on Christmas, my Santa baby gifted me with a essential oil diffuser. The effects have been tremendous in only a few days. Aromatherapy works wonders to relieve stress, relax, combat illness, be romantic--everything! I now have a Pinterest page dedicated to essential oil blends and aromatherapy.

So this got me to thinking, "What If I used natural products for the rest of my body? My house? My food?" So I've decided that in 2017, I am going to invest into more natural products. I've found a great facial skin care regimen thanks to one of my favorite brands, Cream and Coco (I will need to do a whole post on their fabulousness later). I'm currently using the Hawaiian Volcano Soap, Pink Lemonade Toner and Hibiscus Tea Serum.

I also gave up lotion for the winter and instead use a glaze tincture while my skin is still wet from the shower. What is a glaze tincture you ask? It's simply a blend of oils including evening primrose, grapeseed, and sweet almond (to name a few), mixed with ayurvedic herbs such as licorice root, burdock root and amla. Use a glaze tincture on wet or dry skin, hair or squeeze a bit into your bath for a luxurious soak. Talk about gorgeous, glowing skin! My skin has never been so rich. I love this stuff.

Anyways, I am looking forward to finding out more holistic and natural products for everyday life. What natural products do you use that you love? Sound off in the comments!!!
